AVEVA Increases Focus on Investing in People and Sustainability

AVEVA, the leading provider of industrial and engineering software globally, recently announced that it made three major senior hirings to lead Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), employee experience, Diversity Inclusion and Wellbeing (DI&W), as well as Sustainability. These roles are going to accelerate AVEVA’s increased focus to enhance its values on collaboration, integrity, innovation, as well as sustainable business results across the organization.  

It must be noted that the new Chief People Officer (CPO), Caoimhe Keogan has joined AVEVA in Jan 2021. In this role, she will be responsible for leading the company’s group-wide Company Social Responsibility initiatives, in addition to driving AVEVA’s people strategy, as well as improving employee experience globally. Before joining AVEVA, Caoimhe served at numerous senior positions, including SoundCloud, Moneysupermarket Group PLC, Google, and SoundCloud. 

“I am delighted to be joining a leading UK technology organization with ambitious growth plans and a strong focus on social responsibility. These key hires demonstrate that AVEVA is investing in both sustainability and inclusion, in addition to our established Action for Good program, where we aim to have a positive impact on the communities we operate in,” stated Caoimhe Keogan.

On the other hand, Lena Milosevic MBE has also joined AVEVA as the Global Director of Diversity, Inclusion, and Wellbeing. In her career spanning several years, Lena has successfully led diversity & inclusion-for the local government in the United Kingdom through activism. 

“This is an exciting time to be heading up DI&W at AVEVA because the support from different levels of the company for accelerating positive change is so strong. I am thrilled to be working with hugely committed and talented colleagues across the globe to drive forward a coherent and constant program of interventions that are already beginning to make a difference,” reiterates Lena Milosevic MBE.

Also, Lisa Wee has joined AVEVA in Aug 2020 as the Director of Sustainability. In her role, she will be leading the coordination and development of the organization’s ESG strategy. Before AVEVA, Lisa has worked towards advancing corporate impact on sustainable development through different roles at Chevron. 

“I am very impressed that AVEVA’s software already does a great deal to support sustainability, reducing emissions, boosting circularity, and supporting increased transparency and traceability across supply chains. The foundations are in place to accelerate AVEVA’s sustainability journey and leadership in this important area,” commented Lisa Wee.  Apart from this, AVEVA is also looking to address climate changes to ensure potent labor practices, product safety, data security, and talent management. The company fully understands the importance of the ESG aspects when it comes to improving business performance.
