In a move to enhance focus on IT & digital transformation, GMMCO has appointed Ganesan Sivaramakrishnan as Head of its IT and SAP operations.
A seasoned IT leader, Ganesan Sivaramakrishnan brings 25-plus years of extensive experience to GMMCO. In his previous role, he served as Head of IT, SAP, and Digital Initiatives at BGR Group, where he was responsible for the development as well as management of IT infrastructure and SAP systems. Before that, Sivaramakrishnan co-founded a company where he honed his leadership skills for over a decade.
GMMCO, one of India’s premier construction equipment dealers, provides a unique platform to numerous industries, including mining, construction, roadways, agriculture, ports, irrigation, etc., to shop for road laying equipment, Caterpillar products, DG sets as well as power solutions to meet their infrastructure and construction project requirements.
Ganesan Sivaramakrishnan’s years of experience will be of great value to GMMCO as they navigates the fast-evolving IT landscape. With a proven track record in spearheading IT initiatives and SAP implementations, Ganesan will work towards propelling GMMCO’s growth and innovation efforts.
It must be noted that Ganesan embarked on his journey with Zeron Electronics Pvt. Ltd as a Network & CS Engineer and soon moved to VCARE Communication. He later joined BGR Energy Systems and VAR Facility Management Solutions, eventually moving to BGR Energy Systems as Head of IT.
