Women Acing the

Tech Race in the Digital Era

According to a recent report, women now make up 34% of the total
IT workforce in India. The good news is that the efforts to empower

women in technology is showing better results in the country. India in
this case is leading the way. In fact, the Indian IT industry is one of the

many industries that continues to attract more women, which is also
an indication of how their worth and talent are fast getting recognition

in a world where fierce competition rules the roost. As a matter of
fact, the IT industry, which is relatively a new industry has been the

first to recognize the significance of diversity and inclusion (D&I) of
which gender has been a major component.
