Tejas Shah, former Head-IT Infrastructure at Axis Finance, has recently moved to Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM) as the Deputy Director-IT. In his role, Shah, currently based in Mumbai, will manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications.
Shah will also manage everyday IT operations while implementing new information technology-related initiatives at Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal. Right from ensuring systems compliance to offering prompt assistance to business users & senior stakeholders, vendor management, and improvement of processes, Shah will also develop IT policies and fresh practices.
During his over two years stint at Axis Finance, Shah was handling overall planning, organizing, as well as execution of IT functions. Before working at Axis Finance, Shah spent more than 11 years at HDFC Bank, where he was mainly responsible for decision making. Shah has more than 16 years of experience in the management of IT networks and infrastructure. He has also worked with companies like Sify Technologies in the past. Headquartered in Mumbai, SVKM functions as a Public Charitable Trust. SVKM embarked on its path to becoming a notable trust in the 1930s with a mission to provide education across the country. With over 80 years behind them, the SVKM group has successfully developed a large and unique educational complex (located in Vile Parle of Suburban Mumbai). The trust has also expanded its presence in cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, and Chandigarh.
