Synology, a global leader in data storage & management, recently unveiled its plan for achieving 300 percent growth in 2023, riding on its track record of 100 percent growth Year on Year in India since 2019.
The company has recorded exponential revenue growth, installed base, units shipped, customers, as well as active partner accounts since 2019. The server deployments for Synology have doubled YoY in India, especially among SMBs. Midsize, thus becoming a key growth driver for the organization. The manufacturing segment, eyeing multi-site solutions for sharing and synching mission-critical data, accounts for over 30% of Synology’s revenues in the country. Professional services (such as hospitals) looking for on-demand data protection, backup and security solutions, as well as the entertainment segment searching for PETA volume data storage as well as high I/O data management solutions, account for a 15 percent share each.
Since 2019, events have transformed how organizations and their employees are managed as well as sharing data and testing enterprise-wide IT resilience. During COVID-19, Synology NAS designed for file collaboration and remote access met the critical need for small and medium enterprises to have an integrated infrastructure offering collaboration, networking, security, as well as file storage solutions for minimizing IT efforts, enabling them to run their organizations in challenging environments. Synology NAS servers thus helped SMBs in enhancing their business resilience.
“The Indian economy is poised for exponential growth in 2023 and beyond. Our new line of data management solutions enables us to address unmet market demands and drive digital transformation for customers in India,” said Michael Chang, Regional Sales Head, Asia Pacific, Synology.
Synology is offering new possibilities for organizations, including data storage, backup, video surveillance, network infrastructure, and file collaboration solutions.
