Savex Technologies, the 3rd largest ICT distributor in the country, recently organized a virtual webinar for the women partners in its channel ecosystem. The event was attended by leading business owners and heads of departments of numerous organizations across India.
The guest speakers at the event included representatives of leading vendors such as Aruba and Tableau. The session was attended by Ms. Shubha Chandrashekar-Country Manager-Marketing, Aruba India, and Dr. Divya Sharma-leading physiotherapist. Other key speakers at the virtual webinar included Ms. Anjali Juneja Ram, Vice President & Country Head, Tableau, and Capt. Sneha Sharma, eminent speaker at TEDx and the fastest Woman Race Car Driver and Sailor.
The session was opened by Jayant Goradia, MD & CEO- Savex Technologies. In his speech, Goradia addressed all the women and saluted them for their contributions and achievements. Addressing the women achievers, he said, “All Indian women look up to you because you are the change they want in the society. Without mentioning things like gender bias and women empowerment, I would request you to keep up the good work that you do.”
After the welcome address given by the Savex team, each of the speakers gave an insight into their life and career struggles and how they broke the norms to set examples for other women.
Throwing more light on her middle-class family values and how it took her on a guilt trip as she had to leave her three-month-old son behind to go to work, Shubha Chandrashekhar narrated how she managed to achieve the work-life balance and climb up the success ladder.
Anjali Juneja Ram talked about her journey in the IT industry and how she carved her career while striking the right balance between family and work. Anjali, who has won the Iconic Women of the year award in 2021-22, organized by GCC Media, has successfully coached a team of women leaders started by greeting all the women on the occasion of Women’s Day. Addressing the participants, Anjali explained how she handles her family members at home while also managing a team of 32 people at work, including the product & pre-sales team and partner organizations.
Capt. Sneha Sharma, who has been racing since 2006 and has participated in over 126 races so far, gave a sneak-peak into her life and career. She further shared how she enjoys both shooting and being a pilot, i.e., flying airbus during her free time.
Apart from the above women achievers, Physiotherapist Dr. Divya Sharma also shared useful information around office ergonomics and the right posture while working and sitting at office chair & table.
