Rubrik, one of the prominent Zero Trust Data SecurityTM companies, recently announced the appointment of tech leader Abhilash Purushothaman as its General Manager and Vice President for Asia.
Purushothaman, who hails from Bengaluru in India, brings over a decade of exposure, including executive positions at CISCO, CA Technologies, and AppDynamics. In his previous role, he worked as Regional VP (South East Asia, Greater China, Korea, and India) for CISC AppDynamics, and prior to that, he was Vice President of APJ at CA Technologies.
Sharing more about the appointment Antoine Le Tard, Vice President, Rubrik APJ, said in this newly designed role, Purushothaman will lead the business in India, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, and across ASEAN.
“We’re combining India and ASEAN under the one leadership umbrella to strategically serve the markets with a cohesive and consistent approach,” he commented.

Purushothaman further clarified Singapore, India, as well as other regions across Asia, have witnessed rapid digitization in the past three years. However, data security remains an afterthought, given the pace of transformation.
