From the outside, the Razer Blade 14 is similar to all other Razer Blade laptops. Whole chassis, RGB keyboard, snake emblem, and a modest sense of black is the whole thing. Razer Blade 14 is a unique product. This is the first time AMD processors have appeared in Blade. Razer uses the Ryzen 9 5900HX processor to create the most powerful 14-inch gaming laptop ever.
Thanks to the efficiency of AMD, Razer has been able to add the most effective mobile graphics cards RTX 3070 and RTX 3080 from Nvidia. This is often the primary 14-inch laptop equipped with these CPUs. The ASUS Zephyrus G14 topped the list of best gaming laptops last year and can become the foremost powerful RTX 3060. Blade 14 isn’t cheap. Our test unit is priced at $ 2,199.99, which is cheap for several consumers who require larger screens.
On the other hand, if portability is very important to you, then this laptop should be on your list. there’s no other place to seek out a much better balance between performance, specifications, and build quality.
- Transportable 14-inch construction
- Highly efficient eight-core processor and top-end GPU
- QHD 165Hz show the possibility
- Costly for its dimension
- Battery life is completely alright
- No Thunderbolt benefit
Design and Looks
Except for the larger size, the Razer Blade 14 looks and feels kind of like its 15.6-inch laptop. Elite laptops, especially gaming devices, have the simplest manufacturing quality. This design has set a trend among the thinnest and most stylish gaming laptop manufacturers, and it’s nice to work out this size. All black paint, stylish geometric design, small screen frame, an RGB backlit keyboard all appear in a very compact case.
Battery life is ample but not as impressive as other new AMD systems. The Blade 14 is provided with Razer’s revolutionary “Next Generation” soak plate cooling technology, equipped with dual 88-blade fans, blades as thin as 0.1mm. Unfortunately, the system can’t keep up with the chip. During gaming and other high-intensity loads, the 5900HX typically reaches temperatures over 90 °C (°C). In testing in other eras, it was often within the upper reaches of the ’80s. The good news is that none of this heat goes where I can feel it – the chassis, keyboard, and underside of the palm never get hot.
If you are looking for optimum power per pound, the Razer Blade 14 is your ultimate gaming laptop. Of course, a 14-inch screen isn’t enough for everybody, especially during this price range, many buyers are also willing to sacrifice the elegant RGB and some frames per second in exchange for the incredible battery life of the Zephyrus G14 and G15. The Blade does have some flaws, including a poor webcam, case fingerprint retention, and a high price, but if these aren’t its break factors, I see no reason to not recommend it. Yes, there’s no other similar thing on the market.
However, Blade 14 still includes a lot to like. Compared to the dearer Blade Stealth 13, this new model may be a lightweight laptop that will satisfy most of your hardware needs. So if you wish the thought of a sword under four pounds and do not care about the compromises involved, choose the god of the sport.
