Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, the premier provider of communication, cloud, and network solutions, recently announced the appointment of Ilya Gutlin as the Senior Vice President of the APAC region.
In his role, Ilya will chart strategy while driving growth for the company’s business across twenty territories in the Asia-Pacific region. Ilya will also be responsible for strengthening customer relationships as well as building new alliances across the industry.
Commenting on Ilya’s appointment, Rukmini Glanard, Executive Vice President for Global Sales, Marketing and Services at ALE, stated, “APAC is a key market for ALE, and we continue to be committed to the region. It is an interesting time in APAC as many countries are rebuilding their economies and striving to return to normalcy while navigating the challenges and instability brought about by geopolitical developments. Ilya’s leadership will be crucial to driving our organization into the next phase of growth as well as deepening our business and presence in the region.”
With more than three decades of start-up and international corporate experience behind him, Ilya has in-depth know-how in organizational strategy, digital transformation, and change management. He is well-versed in leading multi-disciplinary as well as multi-cultural teams.

Before ALE, Ilya was the Chief Commercial Officer at Elenium while also serving on the Board of Directors. Before that, he was President of Air Travel Solutions at SITA and held the roles of President of APAC and Vice President of Sales in Europe at SITA.
