Arvind Kumar Sharma, who has previously worked for Chambal Fertilisers as Head of IT, recently joined PT. Panca Amara Utama (ESSA), Indonesia, as its Enterprise Systems & ICT Head.
ESSA has successfully operated the largest private LPG Refinery and Ammonia Plant in Indonesia since 2007. The firm utilizes highly sophisticated and efficient technology in the world in its bid to place Indonesia at the top of the Ammonia and LPG industry. A publicly listed organization, ESSA, recorded US$ 731 million in revenue in 2023.

Panca Amara Utama (ESSA), Arvind will emphasize infrastructure modernization bringing in the latest technologies, OT security, cyber security, and deploying tools such as Zero Trust, SAP HANA, RPA, Cloud Computing, Analytics, Generative AI, etc., to boost productivity and cybersecurity of the company. Arvind will also focus on people management, vendor management, skillset development, etc.
In his career spanning over two decades in the industry, Arvind has worked with several reputed brands, including Binani Cement, Chambal Fertilisers, Jindal Group, and Johnson Matthey.
At Chambal Fertilisers, his role was to bring in disrupting technologies such as Zero Trust, DMARC, Cloud computing, etc., in addition to technology management and upgradation, vendor management, and people management, among other areas.
A seasoned professional with 21+ years of diverse and extensive techno-functional experience, Arvind specializes in implementing and running IT Facilities and Designing Business-Critical Applications, such as ERP and Real-Time integrated applications.
