ADATA unveils Gen 4 XPG GAMMIX S50 Lite and S70 SSDs in India

The manufacturer of DRAM modules and NAND Flash storage application products and accessories, ADATA has announced the launch of its Generation 4 SSDs in the India market. The SSDs – XPG GAMMIX S50 Lite and S70 PCIe Gen4 M.2 2280 provide huge storage and speedy transfers while its PCIe Gen4 interface, which is a critical upgrade, will bring storage devices to the next level.

The S50 Lite also expands the GAMMIX S50 series with a new option for mainstream users who want to harness the capabilities of PCIe 4.0.

Sachin further added that XPG still has its full range Gen 3 SSD and has a great market share, media endorsement and end-user feedback in the market. On the other hand the S40G is ideally suited for gamers, PC enthusiasts, overclockers, and graphics professionals. “It can customize the SSD’s look with programmable RGB lighting effects and allows the user to set up patterns, pulse speed, lighting intensity, and more,” he said.

GAMMIX S50 Lite PCIe Gen4 M.2 2280 SSD

The XPG GAMMIX S50 Lite SSD has a sequential reading speed of up to 3,900 MB/s and writing speed of up to 3,200 MB/s, while the random 4K performance is 490,000/ 540,000 IOPS respectively, giving users the advantage of expedited data transmissions for enhanced productivity and entertainment. It comes with an NVMe 1.4 PCI-Express 4.0 x4 SSD with a SM2267 controller along with a Dynamic SLC cache and Host Memory Buffer. This is adorned with an elegant cooling system in the form of an aluminium heatsink with a silver brushed aluminium finish combined with white lines. In addition, the S50 Lite offers performance that is superior to that of SATA SSDs and is backward compatible with PCIe 3.0 for ease of use and convenience.

The S50 Lite comes in 1TB and 2Tb variants and is backed by a 5-year warranty.

GAMMIX S70 PCIe Gen4 M.2 2280 SSD

The GAMMIX S70, with the adoption of next-gen PCIe 4.0, delivers unmatched read and write performance and claims to be the world’s fastest M.2 SSD. Seeking to harness the best that PCIe 4.0 can offer, GAMMIX S70 sports blazing-fast read/write speeds of up to 7400/6400 MB per second. In combination with NVMe 1.4 compatible and Dynamic SLC Caching, the S70 offers performance far superior to that of SATA and PCIe 3.0 SSDs. Additionally, the S70 is backward compatible with PCIe 3.0 and is equipped with XPG’s proprietary CoolArmor heat spreader design.

The S70 comes in 1TB and 2TB variants and is backed by a 5-year warranty. While SX8200 Pro is available with KBC distributor, S50 and S40G are exclusively available with Multi distributors.
